Changes of the quality of services in residential care facilities
for the elderly – a qualitative research report

ABSTRACT
The article presents results of a qualitative research, that was carried out in the Lower
Silesian residential care facilities for the elderly. The point of the research was to collect
residents’ opinions about the quality of services. Such point includes three particular
questions:
-– how respondents assess the quality of services?
– do they notice any changes in their quality?
– is it acceptable to diversify the quality of services according to the level of payment,
that each resident does.
